Last year was a challenging and exciting year. We expanded our team, we moved and renovated our office (for the record, I don’t recommend doing it in this order), we brought on new clients, and we learned new skills (hello, digital). Internally, we revamped the processes we had outgrown to position us for greater and faster growth. We hosted a rockin’ holiday-themed grand opening of our office.

It was an unforgettable year for us as a company.

In partnership with our clients, we reached new heights in our company’s success and delivered some of our most innovative projects to date. We were a ColoradoBiz Top Company finalist, which delighted us immensely. I’m incredibly proud of our accomplishments and of the difference we made for our clients and their stakeholders.

More importantly, we are making a difference in the lives of people and we are deeply honored to have this responsibility. We helped open a new power plant in American Samoa that could bring greater economic growth to an area that badly needs more opportunity. In the wake of the devastating hurricanes in the Caribbean, we are working with the team that is restoring power to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands in a sustainable, resilient, and forward-thinking way. We helped educate Coloradans about the importance of school options because we know that a great education is the building block of an inspired life for our kids. We defended one of Colorado’s largest industries to preserve jobs, opportunity, and security in Colorado and abroad. We were thrilled to help bring greater access to insurance through technology.

Looking forward, we’re in a great place and have a lot to look forward to in 2018. I owe a lot of that to our amazing team. They truly embody our values – entrepreneurial spirit, partnership, excellence, and integrity – and make our workplace fun, collegial, and innovative. The attitude and commitment of our team makes each of our loads light and brings much laughter to our “second home.”

To that end, we continue to host Happy Hour every Thursday at 4 p.m. in our new office. We love the variety of folks who stop by to raise a glass with us. We’re planning a Rockies Opening Day event, and we will celebrate our ten-year anniversary. And we throw a great party, so these are must-attend events.

In the coming months, we will onboard several new clients and will continue to expand our footprint in Denver and the country. We’re excited to launch our first employee-driven corporate philanthropy program. Given the value we place on personal and professional growth, we’re looking forward to our corporate retreat and the ongoing professional coaching our employees receive.

It’s going to be a busy year, but we are ready to tackle the challenges ahead. We hope you look back on your 2017 with fondness and look forward to your 2018 with excitement, a touch of butterflies, and unrelenting resolve.

Cheers to a 2018 filled with great success, few stumbles, and the warmth of camaraderie. Stay tuned for additional blog posts with helpful tips throughout the year and sign up for our monthly newsletter. Drop us a line, we’d love to hear from you and stop by for a drink one of these Thursdays.
