2020 PRSA Silver Pick

The Public Relations Society of America Colorado Chapter’s Silver Pick Awards honor the region’s best work in public relations, and it has become the state’s most prestigious recognition program for PR practitioners. Novitas Communications was honored for its work on the Proposition CC opposition campaign, a tax increase that would undermine the state’s taxpayer protection provision in the Colorado Constitution, the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights (TABOR). Specifically, its creation of the “Skipster ad,” which featured a whimsical hipster styled character proclaiming that the passage of Proposition CC would men the state could keep future TABOR tax refunds.
