2019 AAPC Silver Pollie Award

The Pollie Awards are hosted by the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC), the only bipartisan, non-profit organization for political consultants and public affairs professionals. Spirit of Colorado, a Novitas Communications client and Colorado independent expenditure committee that was stood up to oppose Proposition 112, the 2018 ballot initiative that would have destroyed state’s the oil and gas industry, received a 2019 Pollie Award for Television – Ballot Initiative Division (Bilingual/Multilingual/Foreign Language). The national honor recognized the excellence of Spirit of Colorado’s touching portrayal of Raul Sanchez, a welder in Greeley, Colo., whose family and livelihood depend on the oil and gas industry.
