For over 75 years, the Anvils have been considered the icon of the profession and the benchmark of high performance in public relations. Silver Anvil Awards celebrate the best strategic public relations campaigns of the year, as well as outstanding organizational excellence. Novitas Communications and Coloradans for Real Education Reform (CRER) received the award for their work on Vote No on 66/ Coloradans for Real Education Reform campaign. Amendment 66 was a $950 million tax hike that would have increased the state income tax rate for all Coloradans.
