While it is tempting to write off 2020 because it has been so challenging, we still have much for which to be grateful. As this year comes to a close, I’m taking this time to reflect and show gratitude and appreciation for our clients, who we greatly enjoy working with and helping them further their mission; our partners who have dedicated themselves to us and our client’s mission; and our Novitas family, who upholds the values of the firm and whose dedication to our clients is unmatched. Although this year has been out of the ordinary, Novitas has served many wonderful clients and continue to be humbled by the recognition and accolades our work has received. In particular, we were named one of the top 100 PR firms in the country this year, and to this day, this recognition still amazes me. I could not be more appreciative and excited for what 2021 has in store for Novitas.
As we look forward to 2021, and I think about opportunities for organizations, I keep coming back to stories. After all, we are storytellers. How is your organization planning to write your 2021 story? Our Novitas team has worked with many organizations this year on post-COVID-19 recovery stories, and as we leap into 2021, it’s going to be more essential for businesses and organizations to have a strategy in place to tell its story. Afterall, your brand story defines your organization. One of the biggest takeaways from 2020 is that consumers, stakeholders and employees care about what your organization stands for and how you tell that story. When you look back on the past year, are you pleased with the efforts your organization made? Is your organization’s narrative aligned with your stakeholders’ and employees’ needs? This year has challenged communicators in various ways, and we look forward to a fresh start to write our clients’ 2021 narrative.
Throughout December and the last few months, our Novitas team has discussed and brainstormed ideas and strategies to implement for our clients to ensure they are in control of their narrative in the new year.
